Charles C.H. Chan

Founder & Principal

Charles Chan is a global medical device executive, entrepreneur, and strategic advisor with more than 30 years of experience in business development, strategic marketing, international commercialization, and medical device sales, with particularly deep experience in Japan and China.
He co-founded Zurich Medical and helped advance the company from concept through product development, regulatory approval, commercial launch, and acquisition by its strategic partner. Earlier, at St. Jude Medical, he led international business-development activities including diligence and integration associated with acquisitions totaling $1.65 billion.
His career also includes leadership roles with St. Jude Medical and Medtronic in Tokyo and Hong Kong, with responsibility for cardiovascular product launches and growth initiatives across Japan and Asia-Pacific. Charles holds BS and MSE degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA with a finance concentration from Pepperdine University.
